FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY TEAM

The Fellowship Ministry Team is responsible for coordination of events outside of the worship service of Elim. This includes the coordination and supervision of the various groups within the congregation and those sponsored by the congregation.

Specific responsibilities include:

Plan various events through the year to enable the congregation to celebrate and to build on its unity in Christ. This would include potlucks, dinners, service opportunities, and the like.
Coordinate the activities planned with the various organizations of the congregation; Youth, WELCA, Men’s Group, Boy and Girl Scouts, and any others that might be formed.
Provide nursery care as needed.
Prepare an annual budget proposal for consideration by the council.

Volunteer positions responsible to the team would be:

Nursery staffing coordinator
nursery sitters during worship and Sunday School
hosts and hostesses
Easter egg hunt
Youth group
Easter Breakfast
Picnic coordination
Fathers day BBQ
Palm Sunday Women’s and Men’s breakfast
Shrove Tuesday Pancake dinner
Senior Appreciation Dinner
New member reception
