2 to 3 cups cubed ham
8 oz. cheddar cheese shredded
6 eggs
salt and pepper
2-1/2 to 3 cups milk
1 cup cornflakes crushed
1/2 cup margarine or butter melted
14 to 16 slices white bread
Remove crusts form bread. Very lightly grease a 9x13 pan. Line pan with a layer of bread. Sprinkle with ham and top with the cheese. Put on another layer of bread. Beat eggs together with milk and seasonings. Pour on top of everything. Let set in Fridge overnight.
Before baking sprinkle top with cornflakes and drizzle with melted margarine. Bake approx 1 hour at 350 degrees or until set. I cover it with foil to start and remove it later on. You can use sausage instead of ham.
