Youth Group is a way for Christian Students to come together to socialize and learn more about their God and their Church. The ties they make will stay with them a lifetime. They are viewing the world through each one of us, and at Elim, I am proud to see that they will be armored, not only with Christ’s Love but also, with confidence, self respect, optimism, compassion, will-power, trust, generosity, honor, reliability, vision, pride, self-esteem, independence, assertiveness, dignity, willingness, and selflessness to bring to their world. Elim has been a safe-haven for each to grow and trust in God. It takes a church to grow a youth group, I am proud to be a part of it.
Each fall is a new set of Christian Students that look to us for guidance and support. We meet every Thursday at 6pm for Guitar Jam, 6:30pm for dinner, 7pm for Bible Study and fun. We do a variety of community work, church projects, fun outings, fundraisers and a retreat in the summer. I look forward to seeing you. Continue bringing your kids knowing that it not only makes for a better future, it makes Him smile.
